Haulage

 Hiya, everyone!

I was recently shopping at the weekend and also brought a couple of items from Forever21. Don't think this amount of buying for me is normal; I just had a teeny, tiny urge to buy some (needed) things. So, without further ado, let's carry on!

Forever21 Arrowhead Tarnished Drop Earrings (They have removed this from the website, but they were around £3.15)

**They are more tarnished and darker in reality, but my camera was having some sort of fit. Sorry about that.

Primark Jumper (£5 reduced from £10)

Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Wash (Around the £2 mark from Bodycare)

Nivea Hand Nourishing Hand Cream (£1.25 from Sainsbury's)

Vo5 Ultimate Hold Hairspray (Again, around the £2 mark from the Bodycare)

Blistex Daily Lip Conditioner (About £1.50 from Bodycare)

And there you have it: my buys from my latest shopping excursion. Hope you enjoyed it!

NOTD: OPI Alpine Snow & I Lily Love You

Hello, lovelies

I painted my nails about two hours ago and just thought I'd upload a little post. On all my nails is 'Alpine Snow' and on my ring finger is 'I Lily Love You' (from the Nice Stems Collection). I found the white colour to be a thick, but streaky consistency, so needs a few coats to look alright. But apart from that, I really like the combination.

Hope you're all doing well and staying gorgeous!

Review: Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Regenerating Night Cream

Hello, beauty lovers!

Thought I'd do another review and this time it's a night moisturiser. This was a present I received at Christmas and I wanted to use it for a while before giving you a review. And it is the Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Regenerating Night Cream (for combination skin).

Contained in this little jar is 50ml of product. It's a thick, creamy product and at first the consistency and feeling will scare you a little if you're used to wearing a lighter moisturiser to bed. Personally, when I first started using this, I was a little weary because it takes a lot of elbow grease to work into cleansed skin and leaves a shiny, slippy second skin on your face. But I worked my way around that and learned how to apply it in order to prevent that. I personally use this in conjunction with the parallel daily product, but if you're afraid of using a heavy moisturiser during the day before applying make-up, I would avoid the daily moisturiser. But you will instantly notice a difference in your skin. It works quick and effectively and does the job required. I would recommend this to people who are having a hard time with their combination skin.

To sum up, this a fantastic moisturiser if you're careful with the product application: it must be applied lightly to avoid a greasy, heavy face.

Available at Boots for £4.35

Hope that helped you at all! If you any suggestions on how I could improve my blog, what kind of posts you would like, or how I could personalise it, please do not hesitate to write a comment down below.

**Again, I am no way inclined towards Nivea product for my own gain or the company's!

My 20l2 Wishlist

Hello, everybody!

As I didn't publish a Christmas wishlist, I thought I would make an attempt at a 2012 list to perk me up at the beginning of the study-heavy year.

1. Essie Fiji nail polish. This is such a dainty and feminine colour, and yet it still gives you that summer pop of colour that can instantly transform an outfit. I have heard great things about Essie, and hope that, if I do manage to gets my hands on this product, that it will suffice to its name.

2. China Glaze For Audrey nail polish. Yes, I know, everyone blogs, talks, raves about this product. But who can blame them? This is perfection in a bottle. Synonymous with Tiffany anyone? And what girl doesn't love a bit of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'.

3. Mac Pink Pigeon. Mac have recently revealed their Iris Apfel collection and all the products are based on s/s trends of this year, as well as having kooky bird names. This particular lipstick I saw in Missglamorazzi and Amarixe's haul on Youtube (I'll link down below)** and Amarixe was wearing this on her lips. It's such a fun, burst of colour. It's a bright, vivid colour perfect for summer days when you want to feel just a little more special.

4. Mac Flamingo. This, Missglamorazzi was wearing in the same video and I instantly fell in love with it. It's a 'my lips but better' kind of concoction. Slight peachy, but still nude enough for everyday. It's beautiful!

5. HD Brows Kit. Another blogger favourite and who I am not to jump on the band-wagon. Creating a flawless, but still believable eyebrow shape, it is perfect for those who prefer up-market brands and spend a lot of time investing in their eyebrows. I would love to get a try of this to see just what all the fuss is about - that's a perfectly liable excuse ... right?

6. Benefit They're Real mascara. Friends, bloggers and Youtubers alike have me craving for this product. It's supposed to be the perfect mascara for everything: lengthening, curling, volumizing, lifting and separates those lashes. I have always been dubious about these all-round mascara types, but being a Benefit product, maybe it just will succeed my expectations. A real lash girl, I have been eyeing this product for a while, but could never justify paying £19 for a mascara. But maybe someone will spoil me. Fingers crossed!

7. No, not an Audi - a car. Aah, wistful thinking. I'm hoping to learn to drive this year - fingers crossed and wouldn't it be wonderful if you could wake up on your 17th birthday, fully suited and booted and ready to drive in a flash car. Well, we can all dream!

So, why don't you tell me some of your most wanted products of this year; I'd love to hear from you!

Elf Haulage

Hey, guys!

I hope you've had a good week and enjoying your weekend. I am attempting to blog more regularly as I know that the time when my exams begin that I have to begin a total lock down on my laptop!

I recently purchased some Elf products and I'm loving most of them. Cheap and skillfully crafted, these are great for beginners in make-up or those who, like myself, don't want to splurge out on Mac or Sigma brushes.

I used the stipple brush on evenings when I'm looking for a more polished look, but I just don't have time to use this in the morning. But it gives a lovely finish and feels soft and feathery against your skin, whilst working the foundation in properly. I love this buy!

This, I'm not so keen on. It picks up little product and seems much too small and feathery for a bronzing brush. Probably not worth the money paid. I wouldn't advise this product.

I am not so enamoured with this product. I have used it once so far, but felt that my eye shadows came off no matter what the product was under them. But then I found it worked fabulously; it must have been a rubbish eyeshadow that I used. It kept the eyeshadow on for a good nine hours and barely budged. A great primer for the thrifty among us!

This smells absolutely rotten, but accomplishes what it says on the bottle. It contains alcohol, so dries quickly in time for your next use. I love watching brushes as the make-up is removed from them and transfer onto the paper towel and this does it fast and well!

** I am no way affiliated with Elf, and have not been asked to promote these in any way.
